EVERETT UNIT 437 BOARD MEETING OF 1/4/12

The meeting was called to order by President JoAnn Smith at 6:40pm

Present were JoAnn Smith, Vena Paiva, Marla Patterson, Ernie Staudt and Ron Tracy

We reviewed the logistics of our Sectional March 30-31. We will need 2 caddies. Ernie volunteered to provide two caddies.

Ron and Ernie volunteered to solicit help for the tournament.

The Christmas party has been scheduled for Dec. 9^th 2012 at the same venue.

We will need to get someone to chair that event. Ernie and Ron volunteered to coordinate

Elections of Officers:

President – JoAnn Smith

Vice President – Vena Paiva

Secretary – Marla Patterson

Treasurer – Ernie Staudt

Member at large – Ron Tracy

Al walker

Ron expressed a desire to address education and ethics issues.

There was discussion on where to have the picnic this summer. Nothing was decided.

The board will pursue updating the membership list and hopefully have an issue of the Kibitzer published soon. JoAnn took an action item to coordinate publishing of same.

Board will explore getting monthly charges by bank DROPPED and meet with the bank to change signatures to reflect new officers.

There was a brief discussion of free play for newcomers.
